DMR, C4FM and Multi-Mode Connections

AmComm supports digital-radio activity through its DMR infrastructure and C4FM access through YCS-313. Some scheduled nets also provide bridges to systems such as YSF, P25, NXDN, D-Star, M17, AllStar and WiRES-X.

Basic Connection Process

Exact settings depend on the radio, hotspot, repeater, mode and destination being used.

Select Your Mode

Choose DMR, C4FM or a compatible linked system.

Find the appropriate talkgroup, DG-ID, reflector or room.

Program the Radio

Enter the required frequency and digital operating parameters.

Configure the Hotspot

Select the correct AmComm server or YCS-313 connection.

Check the Dashboard

Confirm that your callsign and transmission appear correctly.

Listen Before Transmitting

Leave pauses between calls and follow good digital operating practice.

AmComm identifies its dashboard platform as a work in progress. Talkgroups, bridges, net schedules, dashboard addresses and configuration requirements may change as the system develops.
